Mark Peiser: The blowing process, for me, was a meditative experience. And, and you know, and it was a zen kind of thing. And I really enjoyed doing that. It—I actually—kind of really transferred a lot of what I considered the performance aspects of music into the performance of blowing a piece of glass. And the—you know, there’s a right time for everything, and if you screw it up, you screwed it up. You know, it’s time to start over and so forth, you know. It’s in the record of the piece somewhere, it’s not—anyway. But I did—that’s what got me.
