Kate Elliott

Kate Elliott (1950 ) started her career in glass as a student of Harvey Littleton at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1971. She was the only student from his program who went to Pilchuck Glass School in the summer of 1972, where she met Dale Chihuly, with whom she worked closely for the next 16 years. In 1993, she opened Elliott Brown Gallery in Seattle, which she closed in 2002 after the Nisqually earthquake and 9/11. She is now a certified appraiser of contemporary studio glass and is based in Oregon.
