EILEEN GRAY: CONVERSATIONS

Eileen Gray: Conversations by Jan Greben explores the ways in which the houses, E 1027 and Tempe a Pailla, were designed to facilitate a modern way of life through their architecture, built-in components, and furniture, as illustrated by more than one hundred new and archival photographs and drawings. It also includes a conversation among Greben and architectural historians Caroline Constant and Mary McLeod.

This publication replaced an installation planned to accompany the Bard Graduate Center’s 2020 exhibition Eileen Gray. That project could not be realized because the BGC exhibition closed due to Covid-19.
